Awareness meet on RTI Act held

Nizamabad: District Collector Ronald Ross said that inclusion of a lesson on the Right to Information (RTI) Act in the school syllabus would be of immense help to students. Speaking at an awareness conference organised here on Thursday on the RTI Act, Ronald Ross advised students to know how they can get information by utilising the Act.

The Collector said that the state government was organising various programmes to create awareness among people on the RTI Act. Students Manoj and Mamata said that they have learnt many things about the problems related to students by seeking information from various departments through RTI Act.
