The TJAC chief urged the Centre to immediately implement its decision on statehood for Telangana. He said ‘shanti’ rallies would be organised in Karimanagar (on Sept.4) and Warangal and Nalgonda (Sept.5). A massive rally in Hyderabad from the City College to Indira Park would follow on September 7.
Aimed at self-rule
BJP legislator Nagam Janardhan Reddy told the meeting that the Telangana agitation was for securing self-rule. He wanted the Centre to immediately carve out a T state. He called for an end to ‘anti-Telangana propaganda’ in a section of the media.
