Farmers to protest for Rythu Bandhu cheques

Pargi: Farmers who have not received cheques and pattadar passbooks in the constituency so far will conduct padayatra from Pargi to Collectorate in Vikarabad on February 18 to register their protest. Farm Workers Association district secretary M Venkataiah, along with leaders Venkat Reddy and Venkataiah, addressing the press here on Monday, said that the concerned officials have been troubling farmers in villages like Raipole by not issuing cheques and pass books for the assigned lands allotted by the government.
He said that there is a chance for the non implementation of Centre’s scheme announced in the general budget. Leaders P Venkatesh, Venkat Reddy, Narasimhulu, Naresh, Venkatesh and Jangaiah were present on the occasion.
